After having a good day yesterday, JJ had a little more difficulty with his speech and memory last evening. The doctors have reassured us that this is normal following surgery in the left temporal lobe because brain swelling peaks from 24-72 hours following the operation.

We will continue to monitor his progress and encourage him to rest. He wants everyone to know that he’s motivated and he got his bandage off today!
